Southampton: Three memorable wins for Saints vs Bournemouth

Saints 2-0 Bournemouth, Premier League, 2015/16

The first Premier League meeting between the two sides as Saints ran out comfortable winners at St Mary’s.

Steven Davis opened the scoring when he volleyed in Ryan Bertand’s ball across the area after 31 minutes.

Then just five minutes later, the partnership of Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle combined as the latter thumped home a header from the former’s cross.

Saints would go onto finish in the highest ever position of 6th, whilst Bournemouth would avoid relegation comfortably in their first season in the top-flight.
