Southampton vs Bournemouth: Premier League – Fantasy League picks

Southampton can confirm their Premier League survival for another season by bettering Cardiff’s result this weekend.

With a six-point gap between the Bluebirds in 18th and the Saints in 16th, any point gained for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side on their relegation rivals will mathematically secure their top-flight status.

They host Bournemouth at St Mary’s and can be boosted by the fact that the Cherries are yet to win at Saints’ home in five attempts since 2010.

A 2-1 win last season – courtesy of a Dusan Tadic brace – saw a crucial win over Eddie Howe’s men at the end of last season, and this could be the case again; although with Saints not in such desperate circumstances this time around.
