Michail Antonio

The former Saints loanee (and JPT trophy winner) is fiercely strong and quick with an eye for goal. His versatility is an asset to Manuel Pellegrini’s side and when coupled with the skill and guile of fellow attacks Anderson and Arnautovic, he can be a real thorn in any team’s side.

He comes into the game in decent form with four goals in his last ten games for West Ham. Antonio can consider himself unlucky to have never played for the English national side.

His physicality will be difficult for Stephens et al to handle, especially without the robust Jannik Vestergaard fit to play. His ability to hold the ball can also give an option with route one football and Southampton must ensure that they don’t allow him time in the box.
