A Marko Arnautović double condemned Southampton to a 3-0 defeat against West Ham United.

Two goals from Arnautović and a classy finish from Ryan Fredericks, made Southampton’s return to the London Stadium a forgettable one.

After securing safety just a week prior, SFC failed to find top gear for most of the match. The side struggled to make inroads in the early goings and fell behind quickly. An intelligent half time substitution was enough to raise the standard of play for a short time, but ultimately sloppy mistakes proved costly.
