Southampton: Five previous final day wins for Saints at St Mary’s

Southampton will be looking to end their Premier League season on a high when they host relegated Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

A poor 3-0 loss to West Ham last weekend had taken some of the shine off of a good end to the 2018/19 campaign, but a home victory on the final day would go a way to resolving that once again.

It is still possible for Saints to climb one place to 16th with a win and the players will be motivated to put on a show for their loyal home support.

Saints fans have been lucky in the recent past to see their side play at home on the last day in eight of the last nine seasons.
