Saints 4-1 Crystal Palace, Premier League, 15th May 2016

Saints’ highest ever league finish was confirmed here after this final day win saw them cement sixth place and qualification for the Europa League group-stage.

It took until the 43rd minute for the hosts to open the scoring and it was Sadio Mane who hooked home following a mistake by Julian Speroni.

Striker Graziano Pelle made it 2-0 after an hour as he headed in at the back post, but former Saints winger Jason Puncheon pulled a goal back shortly after.
