Most Southampton fans will remember Wilson from the FA Cup this season when he banged in a free kick against the Saints in the FA Cup.

The Welshman, according to Sky Sports, has gained interest from multiple Premier League sides including Southampton, Brighton, Newcastle and I am sure a few others. The asking price for the 22-year-old is apparently in the neighborhood of £25m.

In his season at Derby, the youngster helped the team make it to the Championship play-off final (that will be played next Monday in Wembley) while collecting 18 goals and 4 assists in 45 appearances for the club.

Watching Wilson play, it is easy to see why he is drawing so much attention from Premier League clubs. He is incredible at shooting from distance and is never afraid to take on a shot if he sees an opening. He possess solid pace and is always looking to attack.

I believe he would be a fantastic addition to the club if Hasenhuttl and the board decide to launch a bid for him and end up getting him. £25m, seems to be a fair asking price for the talent and if the board wants to keep Ralph happy they will spend the money to get the players he wants.

He is still young enough and talented enough for Hasenhuttl to mold him into the player he wants and the Welshman could flourish in a high-intensity system that the Austrian is implementing over the summer.

I still believe Southampton will sell the players they want out before purchasing anyone but their hands might be forced if their transfer targets start getting attention from other clubs.
