Southampton: 5 Saints players who will be free to talk to other clubs after June

Southampton could be set for a busy summer as Ralph Hasenhuttl sorts his squad for the 2019/20 season.

The Austrian will have drawn up a list of targets that he wants to bring in at St Mary’s, but some current players may need to leave before any others come in.

Movements in the transfer window will be key to a more successful season for Saints who have battled relegation in the past two campaigns.

Finishes of 17th and 16th have been disappointing, but it seems that the club got it right with their managerial appointment in December.

Hasenhuttl will have to make a decision on some of the players that he wants to keep around though as some are coming into the last years of their contracts.

All players are allowed to talk to other clubs over free transfer once their deals go into their final 12 months.
