Marc Walker – Saints 3-2 Arsenal

The two games that are likely to most stick out from the past season have rightly been highlighted by the guys in this article. Both wins against Arsenal and Spurs were key markers in Saints’ journey to safety, but I’m going to go for the 3-2 victory over the Gunners.

Having been at St Mary’s to savour the match, it just felt like the beginning of a more positive spell for our club after a couple of years of struggle. The energy that Hasenhuttl provided, the way that his players fought back from losing the lead twice and a late winner that was much-deserved made it a memorable one, that’s for sure.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Spurs game too despite not being at the stadium, but jumped up and shouted just as loud as those fans present when Ward-Prowse curled home his free-kick.
