Marc Walker – James Ward-Prowse (Tottenham)

My vote for goal of the season goes to James Ward-Prowse for his free-kick against Spurs.

There was unbelievable pressure on his shoulders as he placed the ball down on the edge of the D and everyone held their breath as they watched him curl a perfect strike over the wall.

It was a great strike, but also gave Saints a priceless win following a superb comeback in a game that many would have expected them to lose.

Honourable mentions go to Yan Valery at Old Trafford and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s screamer that swerved just inside the post at home to Brighton back in October.
