Southampton’s pursuit of Birmingham City striker Che Adams has been well-documented recently.

However, the most recent development – according to the Daily Echo – is that Saints feel their most recent offer of £14m should be enough to get a deal done and may move onto other targets if Birmingham don’t accept.

Adams isn’t the only striker to be linked with a move to St Mary’s this summer though.

Their forward line needs strengthening ahead of the coming season to ensure some added goalscoring threat and fire the team to a higher top-flight finish in 2019/20.
