After impressing in the Championship for Hull City and Derby County in the past two seasons, Wilson is likely to be on the radar of many Premier League clubs.

Back in May, Sky Sports reported that Saints were battling with Newcastle, Brighton and Crystal Palace to secure his signature.

However, other sources have suggested that Wilson’s parent club Liverpool would charge around £25m-£30m for his services.

Playing from the right-wing for Derby during the last campaign saw the 22-year-old score 18 times and provide six assists in all competitions.
