Southampton: Five defenders who have been linked with a summer move to Saints

Southampton’s summer recruitment plan is well underway after the arrivals of both Moussa Djenepo and Che Adams.

The attacking duo will add goals and creativity to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s squad ahead of an important Premier League season.

However, Saints are also reportedly looking to make defensive additions and are targeting a wing-back and centre-back specifically.

Links to defenders have not been too numerous in their number for Saints this summer, whilst many attackers have been mentioned as targets.
