Southampton: Five defenders who have been linked with a summer move to Saints

Zinho Vanheusden

Since being linked to both Saints and Wolves back in June, Vanheusden’s loan club from last season in Standard Liege chose to sign him permanently from Inter Milan.

At just 19-year-old, it appears that the centre-back has a lot of potential and could grow into top player.

After not making a senior appearance for Inter Milan, he played 30 times on-loan at Standard Liege.

There he would have played with Saints summer signing Moussa Djenepo, who arrived at St Mary’s for around £14m in June.
