Burnley 3-0 Southampton: Three takeaways from the loss

A frustrating afternoon saw a damp and mentally defeated Southampton lose by a 3-to-nil score line as the Home side put in three goals in rapid succession.

I think the best way to describe that match is, “not fun,” for anyone involved not named Burnley.

But, that doesn’t mean we can’t grow and learn from the poor times and hopefully come the end of the season we will not even remember this match. But for now, let us take a look at three things we can take away from this dreadful match.
