When Jannik Vestergaard misread the ball that lead to the first goal, everything seemed to have unraveled from there. Burnley, could not produce anything offensively. They only had 55% passing accuracy at the time of the first goal and looked lost as their only strategy on the attack was to bomb the ball forward and hope a striker latches on.

After that, two more goals were quickly put into the back of Angus Gunn’s net and match was lost. Mistakes happen but it is how you respond to those mistakes is what will define you and the Saints responded very poorly and Ralph will have to knock that habit out of them if he hopes to finish as high on the table as they hope to this season.
