As for the opposition, Liverpool, have a few injury and fatigue concerns themselves. They travelled to Turkey midweek to play in the Super Cup final against Chelsea.

The match ended up tied at the end of the 90 and saw the two teams play an additional 30 minutes which was probably not what Jurgen Klopp was hoping for.
