Danny Ings

Ings, who had a very very forgettable match against Burnley (did not even register a shot) came on to the pitch with a fire lit under him. He quickly made an impact against his former club with a dangerous left-footed shot that just grazed over the bar. Then he jumped on an errant pass from keeper Adrain and put in the first goal of the season for Saints.

He will certaintly be disappointed he did not walk away from this match with atleast a brace as Yan Valery set him up for a tap-in that he whiffed on. Regardless, If Ings can play like he did for the short time he was on the pitch Saturday he will likely lead the team in scoring.
