Yan Valery

The 20-year-old had the unfortunate assignment of having to defend not just Sadio Mane but also Andy Robertson on Saturday. He did exceptionally well for such a young defender having to mark two of the most dangerous players in the league and he has proven yet again the player he can be in a few years.

Offensively, he could have done better on the ball at times but is also unlucky he did not get an assist on the tremendous ball he put in front of net that Danny Ings failed to capitalize on.

If Valery continues to grow as a player every week he will be one of the top wing-backs in the league.
