Wayne Bridge

Bridge was one of the first modern-day players to come from the famous youth academy that Saints have.

In five seasons as a senior player, he made 157 appearances. However, his form eventually earned him England senior caps and interest from other clubs.

Moves to Chelsea and Manchester City came for him later in his career, and it was from City that he joined Brighton on-loan in 2012/13.

There he played 42 games in the Championship, and this proved to be just two years before he retired from football.
