Southampton stretched their unbeaten run to three games with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Goals from Daniel James and Jannik Vestergaard meant a point apiece come full-time, but Saints had to play the last 20 minutes of the clash with 10-men too after Kevin Danso was sent off.

Saints now sit on four points from their first four games of the season, whilst United have five from the opening month of the campaign.

Both sides now head into the first international break of the season, with Premier League action commencing again on the weekend of the 14th September.
