Southampton: Rating Saints’ business in the summer transfer window

The 2019/20 season is well underway in England and Southampton have had a varied start.

They have four points from four Premier League games so far, whilst they also progressed to the third-round of the Carabao Cup.

Key to their prospects for this campaign was their activity in the summer transfer window, with Ralph Hasenhuttl wanting to strengthen some areas of his side and shift out players that he didn’t need.

Overall, they managed to sign three new players and move out no less than 14 on permanent or loan deals.
