Southampton: FIFA 20 Predicted Ratings – Wingers and Strikers
The first international break of the season is upon us and I have decided to have some fun and take a stab at Southampton player ratings in FIFA 20.
This will be a 3 part series. These are just predictions and will most certainly all be wrong when the game comes out later this month.
FIFA is one of the world’s most popular video games and its most popular game mode is FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). If you have never played FUT, the objective is to build a custom team from players around the globe and then play with that team in a variety of competitions. It’s the one place you could have Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, and Nathan Redmond all playing together.
Each player is represented by a card or item that has an overall rating from 1-99 along with 6 stat categories that make up the overall rating. These stat categories are Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, and Physicality. The categories are pretty self-explanatory and they are also represented by a number on a scale of 1-99.
An example of a card is Cristiano Ronaldo. He has an overall rating of 94, his pace is 90, shooting 93, passing 81, dribbling 90, defending 35, and physicality is 79.
These cards are released at the start of the season and usually do not get updated until the next iteration of the game or if a player has a standout performance they are rewarded with a boosted card called an “in-form item”.
Southampton’s highest rated player from FIFA 19 was, Jannik Vestergaard, who received an 83 overall card after his performance against Manchester United last weekend.
So let’s get started with the Wingers and Strikers.
