Chris Wilder

Current Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder started his career as a youth player with Saints but was let go by the club in 1986.

He then moved on to the Blades to begin his professional career and made 93 appearances in six years at Bramall Lane.

In his last few years there though he was sent out on loans to Walsall, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient.

Playing as a Right-Back, he then went on to play for the likes of Rotherham United, Notts County and Halifax Town before retiring in 2001.
