David McGoldrick

McGoldrick joined Sheffield United on a free transfer at the beginning of last season and he proved to be a bit of a bargain.

His 15 goals in the Championship alongside Sharp were crucial as the Blades secured automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old came through the Saints youth academy though and was the club’s top scorer back in the 2008/09 season with 14 goals in all competitions.

He is yet to score in the Premier League but has 100 goals across spells in the Championship and League One.
