Artur Boruc

Boruc joined Saints back in 2012 on a free transfer following his release by Fiorentina.

He played 50 times in two years at St Mary’s but was in a constant battle for the number one shirt with Paulo Gazzaniga and Kelvin Davis. His attempted Cruyff turn and mistake away at Arsenal is perhaps what he is most remembered for.

Then – after an initial loan spell – he joined Bournemouth permanently in 2015 and has enjoyed a consistent period as the club’s first-choice shot-stopper.

Despite now having the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Mark Travers competing with him, he has played 129 times for Eddie Howe’s side.
