Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl dropped Ings to the bench against Sheffield United last weekend.

However, he may well field both Ings and Che Adams this weekend as his side host Bournemouth at St Mary’s with positive football needed in front of the home crowd.

Ings netted his first goal of the season in the 2-1 loss to Liverpool back in August and has looked to be in pretty good form considering his injury issues in 2018/19.

The Bournemouth academy graduate has 16 Fantasy Premier League points to his name so far and will be wanting to find the net against his former side this Friday.
