Defensive mix-up gifts visitors a third

Whilst time was running out and Saints were staring defeat in the face already, a late mix up in defence was not needed and only added gloss to the scoreline for Bournemouth.

A long ball forward bounced beyond Jan Bednarek and he looked set to clear the ball back upfield with relative ease.

However, he saw Angus Gunn rushing out of his goal towards him looking to do the same thing, meaning both players had little time to decide who was going to take charge.

In the end, both players left it for each other and Callum Wilson nipped in to roll into an empty net. Not pretty.
