Eriksen returning to form

Since his move to Real Madrid didn’t materialise during the summer, Christian Eriksen has been a shadow of the player he was before.

It is clear that an off-season of speculation and rumour have affected him mentally, but he will have to make sure he returns to form soon.

He is now with Spurs until at least next summer – when his contract runs out – and must show that he is still the brilliant creator that he can be in order to impress his suitors.

After a tricky run of form for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, Eriksen could really help his side against Saints.
