Ings started the season behind summer signing Che Adams in the pecking order at Saints.

However, his fellow striker’s struggles in front of goal saw him given a golden chance to get back into the team in the cup at Portsmouth.

In the 4-0 derby win, he netted twice whilst looking a real threat and followed that up with another goal last weekend at Spurs.

His nine Fantasy Premier League points last Saturday took him to 26 for the season and his run of form could see him score more this time around.
