Ken Monkou

Monkou joined Chelsea from Feyenoord back in 1989 and was voted as the Blues’ Player of the Season in his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.

He made 92 appearances there before choosing to move to Saints three years later.

Playing at the Dell, he became a regular in defence for the next seven years and clocked up 190 games in that time.

He also proved a decent source of goals in his time on the South Coast, with one of his 10 strikes proving memorable in a 5-4 win away at Norwich City.
