Southampton were well-beaten by Chelsea on Sunday and will look to get themselves back in order during the international break.

A tough upcoming run of fixtures doesn’t look too welcoming on paper and Saints will be well aware that they sit outside the Premier League’s relegation zone on goal difference.

The season is far from over – in fact, it’s only just begun – but improvements are needed quickly in order to avoid a scrap at the top-flight basement again.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side are now on a three-match losing streak as the Austrian still looks for a setup and system that will bring about consistency.

Wolves are their next opponents, but the five game run against Watford, Norwich, Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa in November/December already looks crucial.
