Jim McCalliog

McCalliog’s most widely recognisable contribution for Saints is the hooked pass he played over the top of the Manchester United defence to set up Bobby Stokes for the winning goal in the 1976 FA Cup final.

He spent two seasons at the Dell between 1975 and 1977 before moving to Chicago Sting in the United States.

Between 1969 and 1974 though, he was with Wolves and made 158 league appearances for them.

Their domestic success also saw him play in two UEFA Cup campaigns during his time at Molineux.
