Wolves vs Southampton: Where the game will be won and lost

Nathan Redmond was the difference maker the last time Southampton played Wolves, scoring a brace in a 3-1 win.

Since then Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have struggled in form and a test against European qualifiers in Wolves almost feels like a uphill battle; especially given that the midlands club beat Premier League champions Manchester City just before the international break.

This despite their early struggles having had to an hectic schedule; Nuno Espirito Santo’s men enter this fixture in better form than the Saints, who could make it and tough day at the office for the south-coast club.

Southampton’s opposition host an array of talent, in particular Portuguese internationals Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho; whilst Mexican Raul Jimenez always posses a threat.
