Southampton: Team News – Festive Period Fixture Changes

The holiday season is right around the corner now and Southampton have had four of their fixtures changed during the festive period.

The Saints website has stated that several fixtures have been changed during the festive period.

The first change comes in the Norwich match at St. Mary’s. The match has been moved forward 15mins to be kicked off at 7:30pm GMT and will not be broadcasted by Amazon.

The second match change is the fixture away to Newcastle. The original date of the match was Saturday 7th December but will now be played the next day on Sunday the 8th of December at 2pm GMT.

Next we have a fixture with West Ham that will still be taking place on Saturday 14th December. This match will now be shown live on Sky Sports and has been pushed back to a later start time of 5:30 GMT.

And finally we have the away match to Crystal Palace that also changed dates. The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday 22nd January 2020. Now, this match will be played a day earlier on Tuesday 21st January at 7:30pm GMT.

Also, the matches against Chelsea (Boxing Day) and Tottenham (New Years Day) have both been picked up for television coverage. The Chelsea match will be shown on Amazon while the Tottenham match will be covered by BT Sport.
