James Ward-Prowse, Central-Midfield – 2

Slow and ponderous whilst he opponents were quick and bright. One of many who is a shadow of his former self from last season.

Oriol Romeu, Central-Midfield – 3

Most passes of any Saints player but caught ahead of the ball time and time again.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Central-Midfield – 3

Wheeled out yet again at full-time to try and show the fans that the players care. Lack of effort in chasing back though, must be said and didn’t seem able to snap his teammates back into reality as captain.
