Forwards and Subs

Nathan Redmond – 6.5

Redmond, did not really have a lot to do all match long as City had possession for 75% of the match. The few times he was able to get on the ball however he was able to make defenders miss and create a little something to get hopeful about. In another match where Southampton had seen more of the ball Redmond would have had a much greater impact on the match.

Danny Ings – 6.0

Danny was not really relevant in this match. He had limited touches of the ball and really had a chance to impact the match with his pressure when the back line of City had the ball. Another match he would have had more chances to leave his mark on the game.

Kevin Danso – 6.0

Danso, came into the match in the 75th minute and injected a bit of energy into the match. Was not able to have a real impact but I would like to see him play more in the future

Moussa Djenepo – N/A

Did not have enough time on the pitch to get a rating but even in the few minutes he got to play he was causing problems for City and created a half chance. Exciting to have him back.

Che Adams – N/A

Came on in the 88th. No time to impact the match.
