The Scottish club has reportedly contacted Southampton about purchasing the winger at the end of his loan spell with the club.

The South Coast club has told the Scottish side they will need to cough up around £10m to sign the 25-year-old when the time has come.

Elyounoussi, has already made it known he is keen for a permanent move to Celtic so he will be more than willing to make his stay permanent.

Celtic, do not necessarily have the budget to sign players with this kind of value, but after a bright start for Elyounoussi in the Scottish Premier League they may have to consider shelling out a little more than they are comfortable for the player.

Moi, has made 12 appearances for the Scottish club and has already netted 7 goals for his new club and has already expressed interest in making his move permanent.

The winger struggled at Southampton and is likely not included in any of Hasenhuttl’s future plans so there is no real reason to hold onto him if somebody is willing to pay his asking price. £10m back in the pocket for Saints could go a long way so it is paramount they at least get that for the attacker. Whether that be from Celtic or another club, selling off the deadweight and replenishing the funds is the first step in getting this club back on track.
