Alexandre Lacazette rescues a point as Southampton suffer a late hammer blow in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal.

How supporters view this result will likely depend on whether they are a glass half empty or half full type of person.

On the one hand Southampton put in their best performance of the season to pick up a surprise result at one of the Premier League’s big wigs. The team looked energized, ambitious, and a real handful for the Londoners to deal with.

On the other hand, the traveling side twice conceded the lead, and despite having several guilt edge chances failed to put the opposition to the sword.
