Southampton have a number of players out on loan this season and it is time to look at how Carrillo and Hoedt are doing with their teams.

Guido Carrillo, is currently on loan at Leganes in the Spanish League. The 28-year-old is struggling to get a foothold on the season having made 10 appearances for the club and not recording a goal.

Leganes currently sit in last place in Spain with only 6 points after 14 matches and things do not look like they are turning around anytime soon. If Leganes get relegated it is unlikely they will but Carrillo but the striker has been linked to clubs in Argentina.

I highly doubt we will ever see Carrillo in a Southampton kit again.

Wesley Hoedt, has been on loan to Royal Antwerp in Belgium who are currently sitting 4th in the league. The 25-year-old defender has made 12 starts for the team with 11 of them coming in the league. He has been having success in the league.

He is likely to ever rejoin Southampton due to the rift between him and Hasenhuttl so hopefully at the end of the season Antwerp will want to purchase him.

With what seems to be limited funds the sale of out-of-favor players will be crucial to the success of the team and purchasing new players. Hopefully we can sell these players and recoup the cost of them and find better players that can help the team find success again.
