Southampton: Three soon-to-be free agents who Saints could try to sign

Southampton will surely look to be active in the January transfer window as they attempt to drag themselves away from another Premier League relegation battle.

Defensive additions are a must with options at both centre-back and wing-back limited, whilst more quality in other positions could be a big help too.

However, despite the need for signings, their budget could be small considering the amount of money that the cub have tied up in other deals and contracts.

For that reason, it may be worth them looking at players who are soon to become free agents and who will be available for smaller fees.
