Robin Knoche

Knoche’s contracts runs out at the end of the 2019/20 season and could be an ideal addition to the defensive options at Saints currently.

He has been a regular at Wolfsburg for the last few seasons and is still relatively young at the age of 27.

Saints will be looking for significant improvements to their back-line over the course of both the January and summer transfer windows with their lack of leadership a problem and Maya Yoshida’s contract running out in June.

Knoche represented Germany Under-21s earlier in his career and has made 172 Bundesliga appearances, meaning he could be a familiar player to Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.
