The seconder defender linked with Saints is 20-year-old Italian, Alessandro Tripaldelli. Unlike Todibo, the Italian is a wing-back who prefers to play on the left-side. He plays for the Italian U21 side and has caught the eyes of a number of clubs.

Joining Southampton in interest for the defender are Crystal Palace, United, Atalanta, Bologna, Fiorentina, Levante, and Valencia.

When he was younger he was in the Juventus youth system so there is talent there for sure. He is largely unproven and could be worth taking a gamble. I highly doubt he would cost more than a few million pounds so if Hasenhuttl wants him I think the board needs to go after him.
