Yan Valery

After really proving himself as a long-term Saints prospect last season, Valery started the 2019/20 campaign as the first-choice right-back.

However, he was dropped after the 2-1 loss to Manchester City back in November and replaced by Cedric Soares.

Cedric has not had a good time since returning to the fold though and could become an easy target for the opposition to attack because of his poor displays.

Valery has only just returned to training following illness that kept him out of the last two games, but will Ralph Hasenhuttl be willing to give him another chance to show his capabilities from the start again?

Valery has played just 559 Premier League minutes this season.
