Che Adams

Adams arrived at St Mary’s as one of the hottest goalscoring talents in the country during the summer but hasn’t been able to justify his price tag yet.

Despite finding the net a lot in pre-season, he is yet to register a competitive goal since joining Saints.

However, he still deserves a chance to prove himself and could still be an important players for Saints in the future – especially next season.

Returning to the starting line-up may prove to be the motivation that Adams needs to get back on track and he will be playing alongside an inspirational strike-partner in Danny Ings, who is in superb form.

Adams has started just six league games this season.
