Strikers and Substitutes

Shane Long, Striker – 6

Hard working all night as usual, which is more than can be said for some of his teammates on the night

Danny Ings, Striker – 7

Went close a few times in the dying stages, mostly thanks to his own work in creating the chances. Currently this side’s only chance of avoiding the drop.

Oriol Romeu, 1st Substitute – 6

Did shore things up in the middle and provided some control to build attacks. Provides the option of a third midfielder with a more defensive mindset.

Stuart Armstrong, 2nd Substitute – N/A

No time to make an impact, but will be in line for a start if Hasenhuttl persists with his 4-2-2-2.

Che Adams, 3rd Substitute – N/A

One decent opening to swivel and shoot, but chose to take a touch such is his lack of belief. Deserves more time on the pitch than two minutes at the end to put things right.
