Southampton: Possible Transfer Spot for Saint Defender
The past few seasons Cedric has been linked to a number of moves away from Southampton and it is rumored Milan are interested in the right-back.
The Italian-side have been disappointed in the current right-back and could look for a relatively cheap replacement who has Serie A experience.
Cedric, spent the latter-half of the 2018/19 season with Inter Milan and made 8 appearances for the club including 4 in the Europa League.
The 28-year-old’s contract expires in June of 2020, and the right-back has already stated he is going to search for a new opportunity in the summer, so if they club want to make some money back they will need to sell him in January.
It has been an up-and-down season for the Portuguese international who regained the starting spot back from Yan Valery after the youngster had a spell of bad performances. Now, Cedric has started falling out of favor with the fans as he has struggled to find his form.
If the club ends up selling the defender I would have to think they give Milan a discounted price just so they can recoup some money. The price tag would likely be around £8m-£10m if I were to have to guess and hopefully the team can use that money to bring in a player who can help them survive.

The season has not gone as expected for most anyone and January could make or break the club and whether or not they stay up in the Premier League. I think we will need some new blood to come into the club to help us stay up then they can focus on 2020.
