Brownhill to add to midfield options?

More central-midfield options could also be wanted by Ralph Hasenhuttl next month and Bristol City’s Josh Brownhill could reportedly be targeted.

According to TEAMtalk, Saints have joined Burnley, Bournemouth and Brighton in pursuing the 24-year-old.

Bristol City look set for another charge towards the Championship play-offs this year and Brownhill has been a key part of that.

He has played every minute of their season so far and has chipped in with five goals from midfield whilst having the captains armband for much of the campaign.
