The new striker has struggled so far in his time with Southampton and has now been linked with two clubs for a move in January.

The 23-year-old has yet to score a goal for the Saints this season and now only manages to get a few minutes a match at the end. Because of this, two sides in the Championship who are pushing for promotion are interested in bringing the striker in on-loan in January.

The first, is Leeds United. Leeds, currently sit 2nd on the table in the championship and are looking like one of the favorites to earn automatic promotion back into the Premier League if they can maintain their form.

The second, is Nottingham Forrest who currently sit 10th in the Championship but are only 3 points out of a playoff position. Nottingham, have struggled to score goals at the rate a team like Leeds, and could really benefit from bringing in an experienced striker in during January.

Personally, I would not like to see Che leave in January as I think he still has an important part to play in the clubs future this season. The striker corps on the South Coast is thin and a few do have a history of injury problems. So, if they were to go down with injury our options would be limited.

But, I do not make the decisions when it comes to who leaves and who is brought-in. If Che were to leave in January it could benefit him to get his confidence back and if we do end up staying up he could be poised to re-enter the team knowing what it will take to score in the Premier League.
