Southampton will look to follow up their recent win at Aston Villa when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Thursday.

The amount of points on offer in a short space of time at this time of year gives Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side a real chance to climb the table quickly.

They sit in 17th place at the moment and gave themselves a three-point gap thanks to their victory at the weekend.

Chelsea, as always, will be a tough outfit to face and they have really shown themselves to be a bright, young group under Frank Lampard’s guidance.
